Our Story

We’re Dan and George Maiden, a father and son duo. Mixing cocktails has always been central to entertaining friends and family at home. During the pandemic, our mixology skills became a daily ritual and somewhat renowned.

So, we set about trying to buy a home bar to take centre stage at home. But we couldn’t find a specialist in drinks cabinet retail anywhere.

After some time, we found a stunning piece of furniture which we were then forever being asked by friends and family where we found what became the centrepiece of our home.

For this reason, we founded Barzen to become the UK’s only specialist retailer of drinks cabinets and home bars.

We think about nothing else, do nothing else and sell nothing else.
